ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
I believe living a healthy lifestyle begins with maintaining a good body and mind balance.
Fond of various kinds of sports (gymnastics, running, hiking, water skiing, yoga), practicing a physical activity on a regular basis, combined with a healthy diet and enough daily sleep, is essential for me to manage everyday life’s stress and maintain a healthy relationship between body & mind.
I am from France, my name is pronounced マレーン in Japanese,
and I have been living and teaching Pilates in Tokyo since March 2018.
My discovery of the Pilates method in 2014 was insightful, the benefits gained through the practice on my own body and my well-being are obvious and convinced me to become a Pilates instructor.
Hence, I have enrolled with the prestigious Romana’s Pilates Instructor Training Program, well-known in the Classical Pilates world. I had the chance to receive an exceptional tuition from world-class teachers in Paris, New York, Sydney and now Tokyo.
I have completed the instructor certification in November 2017.
My favorite quote from Joseph Pilates :
“Change happens through movement and movement heals.”
Stooped over computers and cell phones all day, our musculature actually develops to accommodate that position :
we become slouched.
Pilates can correct that slouch through carefully focusing on specific movements.
